Getting Picks and Players from Salary Cap Strapped Teams

The Rockets have reportedly made Ryan Anderson, Patrick Beverley and Lou Williams available via trade in order to open up some cap space for free agency this summer.

This is another trade opportunity to perhaps get picks. Ryan Anderson would address our shooting in a big way. If Houston could get us a pick too, that might be a good option for us.

I would prefer Lou Williams between him and Anderson. He would be an ideal 6th man I feel is a much more creative scorer then Anderson

I would actually consider taking on Ryan Anderson without any compensation from the Rockets.

I prefer Anderson over Williams too, but oof, that remaining contract is hefty. And while he would really help with floor spacing, his defense isn't great. Not sure I'd go there.....

Yeah it's hefty but how much less are other legit impact FA going to be? I don't prefer Anderson exactly over Williams but it seems unlikely they move Williams because he is basically dirt cheap next year and he can play alongside pretty much anybody.

I could be wrong but I think the Wolves can actually trade the pick during some window that opens an hour or 2 before the draft. Regardless I would imagine though they wouldn't be interested in doing anything before they knew who was there at 7 unless someone really blew them away.
