I prefer Anderson over Williams too, but oof, that remaining contract is hefty. And while he would really help with floor spacing, his defense isn't great. Not sure I'd go there.....


Yeah it's hefty but how much less are other legit impact FA going to be? I don't prefer Anderson exactly over Williams but it seems unlikely they move Williams because he is basically dirt cheap next year and he can play alongside pretty much anybody.

I could be wrong but I think the Wolves can actually trade the pick during some window that opens an hour or 2 before the draft. Regardless I would imagine though they wouldn't be interested in doing anything before they knew who was there at 7 unless someone really blew them away.
