First of all, If that happens, they're bad again, and nobody says "they gave up what for Payne?" in June.

Primary "1" is Lavine, secondary Jones. I like Wiggins at the "2", and obviously Budinger will have to put his suit-modeling days on hold. I also would like to see Wiggins at the "1", Shabazz at the "2", and Bjellica at the "3" to punish all these teams that are going to be rolling out their version of GS's "smallball" lineup.

Your guy, Hummel! :)

I love KJ McDaniels but he's on Houston's roster. I probably like him a bit more than GR3 even, but give each of them a couple years to develop and I think they are solid rotational guys that can help on both sides of the ball. On another note, we really need a D League affiliate.

Tyus, Lavine and Wiggins. If Bud's still on the team he would get some minutes at the two as well. I would also bet NB can initiate the offense as a point forward. If Ricky and Martin go down we aren't winning games anyway so we'd go the development route with our young guys. If one more guy got hurt (bringing the total to 3) I believe we could get an injury exception to bring in another guard as well.

You understand that he is on HOU because PHI traded him because he was a pain in the rear about not getting a multiyear deal because Sam Hinkie told him they don't give multiyear deals to 2nd round picks, right?

If Glenn was named Gary Robertson and didn't have the big dog for his father is there even a conversation to find him playing time? He was a glue guy in college who was not impressive in any particular way. What about that says NBA rotation guy?

I'd prefer to leave LaVine off the ball and have a 3rd PG on the roster. He played a ton better when LoBrown was running things.

Heh, well, that's the point (pun intended). Flip had to resort to desperate measures last season because we carried only two actual PGs on the roster, Rubio and Mo. I love Robbie, but he's no PG! And neither is Wiggins.

That might be true Q, but now there is 3.

And I dont' want to argue all night with you about this. I said fourth ballhandler. I didn't say trade Pek and move BlondRicky to Center. I said fourth ballhandler. That's all. If he is primary point this season, they will be drafting in the top 4 again, and everybody can go back to watching March Madness and Euroleague clips on Youtube.

Is Lo Brown as the emergency PG worth dumping anyone not named Hummel? I don't think so. We're better off playing Lavine out of position again so we can develop the other guys on the roster. We aren't going to be winning with Tyus as the starting PG anyway. Why are we talking so much about making moves for fit that only come into play if we have injuries? If we have injuries again we aren't winning so we just need to bite the bullet again and continue to develop players.

Edit: I'm not sure why we would be making moves based on trying to win right now when we still need more talent to shine through on this roster. Getting cheap end of the bench guys that only see the court in case of injuries is a move you make when you are ready to make a playoff push. If any injuries hit us next year there simply isn't going to be a playoff push where having Lo Brown over say a guy like Bennett or Payne makes sense when we still have no long-term solution at the 4.
