Anthony Bennett Hype Thread

Post by Monster »

@WolstatSun: Triano: I think Anthony Bennett's about to break through.

Hope for the believers and hope for using his trade value for the guys that wouldn't mind seeing him go. :)

I will say I have respect for Triano though he seemed like a solid coach for the Raps not great but competent.

For starters, AB needs to keep the injuries from getting in his way...

With these contracts they are handing out there dont you think it makes it much more sense now we should accept bennetts option?

Trade him while his perceived value is up. How about Sacramento? Maybe we could get them to give us a first and the right to swap firsts in two drafts?

Triano is an assistant for the Blazers. Would they add another young player to their front court for nothing if LMA leaves? Doubt it

No need to run a 22 year old kid out of town. Give him another shot. Some guys develop slower than others. I think Flip deals him though.

Triano is speaking completely from a Nationalistic perspective there. That is one of his prospects in Canada basketball and the first Canadian #1 pick. He has to say that. I'm not getting my hopes up.

Bennett/Budinger/Jose Theodore Jersey for Henderson/Kaman.

Trade must take place 60 days after draft night as Henderson was involved in a multi-player trade and I need time to dryclean the jersey.

I think it was symbolic when Thad got traded last year, AB got hurt his first game as the starter. However he's still very young and the contracts we've seen the last 2 days are insane.

I'd rather give GR3 one good shot than give this guy a third shot. Plus GR3's salary would be much much lower and GR3 seems to be a more willing defender and has nice athleticism and pedigree. AB is admittedly shy and doesn't seem to have much drive (his loftiest goal is to start in the NBA). Even if we aren't willing to give GR3 a chance, how about Brady Heslip? There were some free agents I'd rather have signed than give this guy a third chance.
