Bennett's 22-years old unlikely to figure it out in a Minnesota uniform. I've accepted it. Some others have accepted it.

Not to mention there's a chance that Budinger is actually back to pre-injury form and could play his way into the good graces of a playoff team looking to add another piece for the playoffs. That's an added bonus of keeping Bud over Bennett.

I would much rather trade Bud than Bennett. Neither will probably have a long term impact, but Bennett is younger and has more upside, so I would stick with him and give him one more year to figure it out.

We disagree, but that's expected on a forum. I just hate hearing about someone's upside a billion times. At some point, there needs to be more in his favor.

I understand. Neither Bud or Bennett really figure into the long term plans. Bennett is still young and there is hope he will actually become something. He has one more year to prove it. Bud at this point is a fringe rotation guy on a contending team. I want to keep the young guys.

I will hold out on Bud until I actually see him knock down a few 3's in a meaningful game. His confidence was shot, and He only started hitting shots once we were in full on tank mode.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Bennett shooting a better % from 3 to start the season. I know I am tired of giving up on guys after a season or two.

A quick google search says Mo agreed to terms at the end of July. That's far from the beginning of FA imo but I did think it was later than that so... Lol my point stands either way there are backup PG you can get for cheap and the talent level difference at times is very small. Jameer Nelson might end up coming cheap and he has seen we will trade a guy to a playoff team if asked so... I'd like a vet PG but part of me says let's try and develop a young backup so many other teams do it.

I'd really like to see Bennett be put in a limited offensive role by Flip and have him play only near the basket on the offensive end for a year. He needs to develop/implement that part of his game a lot more, and I'm not sure he'll do that if Flip gives him the green light from distance.

If you can trade Bud to get something of value that's good or if by moving him and taking basically no salary back it allows you to add a player with some cap space then yeah. I wouldn't mind keeping him but I have a feeling there are a few teams out there that value him enough a trade would make sense. I like Bud I think he can be a useful rotation player and I have said that through all these injuries. Part of the reason I would be ok with moving him though is the injuries. Will he stay healthy long enough to make it towards the trade deadline? Ultimately it probably doesn't matter he isn't going to bring anything too exciting back or clear enough FA money for anything that exciting. I'd say he is more likely to be traded before the season starts than not.
