Is there a shooting coach that regularly works with Josh Minott?
Same one that worked with Rubio

Doogis is reporting that this guy is a strong candidate to be our 15th man.

Looks like Doogie has scooped Woj on this one.

Just finished watching this one.
DJ Carton was a mixed bag on offense but from like the 2nd quarter on I for sure noticed his D. It was terrific. Maybe he was playing well on that end before but wowzers.
Brandon Williams was another pretty good game. This roster doesn’t have much scoring (and lacks shooting) honestly so they both need that and it’s probably not super easy to get the buckets. One thing this team does have is sole good passing.
Minott was a mixed bag. He was honestly not very good at all quarter 1 then played really well quarter 2 then was. A bit of a mixed bag the rest of the game but mostly positive. Was he the guy guarding Martin when he took over the 4th? Still he filled up the stat sheet.
Miller was mostly pretty good especially for being a 19 year old. He has really good touch on his shots. He has an interring combination of physically kinda floating and being loose while also having some real physicality to him. He is still raw but he can do things. It’s nice to have guys like him and Minott with some potential.
Hunt had a nice game. I think he is a pretty good defender but I don’t thing he has much offense. I’d be curious what his measurements are. Lip do you have his wingspan and standing reach? Lol
Bowen with another solid outing.
Honestly this team’s talent after the top 7 or 8 guys looks underwhelming. Wheeler I guess was decent again but nobody outside of starters looks like they have any chance of getting signed by another NBA team.
Ok now to read through the thread.

Minott chirped about his defense and…well like it’s been said in this thread he isn’t up to the task. As Q mentions some of it is physically he doesn’t move as well. Lip has said earlier in the summer league Minott can get bette with his technique. I do agree with that. I don’t know if he can be a Vanderbilt guarding on the perimeter but I do think his rebounding can be an asset. He isn’t the biggest guy but he isn’t afraid of contact. He plays with energy and a bit of an edge. I do have a little harder time after watching him this summer league thinking of him as a starter. Fortunately he is young and could develop more on both ends and the Wolves at this point don’t need him this season.

I mentioned it in another thread but DeJonte Murray’s interview or whatever during the game was really impressive.
