I myself don't understand how you can essentially adopt a rebuilding attitude when you've got three players making over $20 million a year on your team and two of them are under the age of 25. This team sole purpose right now should be to make the playoffs without incurring any more long-term salary.

They brought in some guys of similar age, but outside of kat, wiggins, and layman, every player seems to be playing much lower than their expectations. 12 players playing alot worse than they were supposed to. 12. Thats nuts.

Thats why we stink and cant do anything right now.

Outside of Covington and Teague nobody else on this roster has proven anything at the NBA level prior to this season. So saying 10 guys, who haven't done anything before, not doing things now means expectations were just wrong for those guys. Seriously this team is filled with a bunch of end of the bench guys everyone was hoping would be rotation worthy and they just aren't. We just lack NBA talent.

Totally agree with Kahns here. This team never had a chance to be better that what they are showing. Our stars are extremely flawed, and our bench guys are forced to play more than their talent suggests they should.

I know people generally like Okogie and his energy, but I have said before, he has shown nothing more than that he should be a periodic spark-plug type. He is just so raw. I am NOT saying he can't become a decent player, but man, he is a LONG ways away. Same goes for Culver.

I would look to deal anyone on this team. As rumors are suggesting, Covington needs to be moved simply based on the fact that his reputation currently exceeds his play. Meaning, I believe the league has fallen in love with this 3 & D idea, and his true value is skewed IMO. He is a good player, but man, people are talking like he is a star.

Yes. Trade Roco now while some people like the idea of him. I do still believe if Roco was in our Graham/Culver/whoever spot he'd be great for us. But in terms of our team building and talent we need someone more dependable as a third option.

RoCo is a star on a great team. On a bad team his value is not there because no one is feeding him the ball consistent for open 3's, the other guys on defense are bad so teams just attack those players and he is out of position going against bigger players. He should be a small forward.

Would anyone want Kuzma? We could do him plus salary fillers to match for RoCo.

I think calling Roco a star on any team is a bit of a stretch. He could certainly be a top notch contributor to a championship team though. Bruce Bowen, Robert Horry, Shane Battier. These guys were all great contributors as I see it, maybe even hall of famers, but I don't know that I'd call any of them stars. Maybe just splitting hairs though. Like I said, I'm cool with Roco and what he brings, unfortunately for us we don't have enough talent to utilize his strengths on a team. Plus it seems like he may not want to be in Minnesota.

I like what Saunders did tonight. Now Rosas either has to start trading or fire Saunders. Good play.

I've changed my answer to this thread to move to Seattle so I can be done with this bullshit team.

Regarding Kuzma.....a team can't live with a PF averaging 3 rebounds per game. We need a defensive big to pair with Towns.....and this is certainly not Kuzma's strength.

I do think the Lakers are a prime target for RoCo as he is an absolutely perfect fit to support Lebron and AD. I just don't see any assets the Lakers have to make deal work.
