Yeah, Dort was definitely the instigator but Jokic threw a punch towards Jaylin Williams. Wonder if he would be suspended for Sunday when we play them. Dort trying to become the new Draymond Green.

Also sounds like Tyus is looking at us and Houston.

I can't imagine Tyus would not choose Houston for the better opportunity.

Rudy probably would have been kicked out and suspended 2 games.

The NBA releases a “pool” report after games which addresses some questions that may arise about officiating decisions during the game.

QUESTION: Why was [Nikola] Jokić not called for a technical foul for the post-whistle contact before Shai Gilgeous-Alexander threw the ball at him in the first quarter?

WILLIAMS: We did not believe the contact by Jokić’s left forearm rose to the level of an unsportsmanlike act, therefore he was not assessed a technical foul.

QUESTION: Why was [Luguentz] Dort’s foul upgraded to a flagrant 2?

WILLIAMS: Lu Dort was assessed a flagrant foul penalty 2 because we deemed his contact on Jokić to be unnecessary and excessive with a high potential for injury, and also because the contact led to an altercation that did not dissolve. So, by rule, a flagrant foul penalty 2 carries an automatic ejection."

QUESTION: Why was the physical confrontation between [Nikola] Jokić and [Jaylin] Williams not deemed worthy of an ejection for either player?

WILLIAMS: When we reviewed that play, we did not see any actions by either player that would have risen to the level of an ejection, which is why both players received unsportsmanlike technical fouls that were offset."

Sounding like Middleton is going to stay in Dallas. Its nice that he won't be on one of our potential playoff foes.

Bulls fans are already seeming to turn on Dillingham, it's starting to look like his college three point percentage was a mirage.

Too many moving parts, exacerbated by the extra 2 or 3 feet and bigger, faster, better defenders flying at you.

He has certainly been humbled in his time in the NBA and has lost his confidence. I think the one good thing Minnesota did for him was forcing him to play defense. Now that Rob isn't a Wolf, I don't particularly care which way Rob goes, but hopefully he can find his niche.

I think the part that really frustrates me is just how much weight Connelly put on Rob's time at Kentucky. His AAU shooting stats were not impressive at all - very inefficient. He basically had a really hot hand there for a stretch at Kentucky, but before and after he's been trash in terms of scoring efficiency. In hindsight, it was such a leap of faith and a costly mistake.
