Yep. I believe when Kobe scored 81 he shot 15 of the 17 4th Q shots for the lakers in a double digit win.Coolbreeze44 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2026 9:26 pmIt's been the WWE2 for a long time my friend.
I agree, nearly as embarrassing as KATs 60 point game. But maybe on par as I heard about all the shenanigan's going on to manufacture points/shots.
To be fair… Kobe Bryant is my least favorite hooper of all time.kekgeek wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2026 1:06 amYep. I believe when Kobe scored 81 he shot 15 of the 17 4th Q shots for the lakers in a double digit win.
To score that many points I really think it’s hard to he “ethical”
Yeah I don't remember Kobes 81 being manufactured as much or out of context of the flow of the game. Not like Bams 83 or KATs 60.AbeVigodaLive wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2026 8:28 amTo be fair… Kobe Bryant is my least favorite hooper of all time.
But…
The Lakers were down the first 34 minutes of that game vs. a playoff team, including by 18 about midway through the 3rd quarter.
Bryant took 15 of the team’s 21 shots in the 3rd.
He took 13 of the team’s 17 shots in the 4th.
It was a 4 point game with 7 minutes left. Bryant spurred the comeback so why go away from it?
I think a Lakers win is higher upside for the Wolves. Lakers have a much tougher schedule than Denver does the rest of the way.AussieWolf3 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2026 8:11 pm What's the optimal outcome for the wolves from Den vs LAL?
Lakers win in OT. I had them winning in my wins forecast, but I would have preferred a Denver win and a klunker for the Lakers. I have us finishing 3 wins behind the Nuggets and tied with the Lakers (but losing the tiebreaker leaving us in 6th), so a Lakers klunker would have moved us ahead of them to 5th. 2 of our final 15 games are against the Rockets, and I have us splitting those two games, leaving us 1 game behind them in the standings. But a sweep could move us up to 4th. Still a long ways to go, but with all the tanking teams, I'm finding very few klunkers compared to other years...making my forecast more accurate than last year.Phenom wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2026 9:26 pmI think a Lakers win is higher upside for the Wolves.
