gm1, Josh Minott was exactly what his college analytics said he'd be and more

- dunker spot
- great rebounder (10 rebs)
- great passer (3 REAL asts, hit guys at angle, in stride)
- excellent defender (game clinching block)
+ hit two 3s!!

pick 45 outplayed all the 1st rounders

Absolutely agree, Lip! And speaking of first rounders, I'd be ready to slip my wrists if I were a Wizards fan watching Johnny Davis yesterday. No impact on the game, very little impact on the box score -- unacceptable for the 10th overall pick.

Yes. Davis was terrible. I thought he was a low first round talent at best. Watching him yesterday further confirmed my view. Bad and mediocre franchises remain bad or mediocre for a reason. They are the sum total of multiple bad or mediocre player personnel decisions - mainly poor or mediocre drafting.

I've been to a lot of Summer Leagues over the years. I was here during the David Kahn, Flip Saunders, Thibs and Rosas eras. During all those Summer Leagues I saw the Wolves' President of Basketball Operations in attendance. I saw Kahn, Flip, Thibs and Rosas walking around and sitting in the stands watching games. Interestingly, I haven't seen Tim Connelly anywhere so far this year.

Well, if he doesn't show up at least he won't be able to embarrass us all by calling Darko Milicic "manna from heaven" and comparing him to Chris Webber to his face! God, I remember watching that live. That was so painful!!

Connelly's wife is expecting any time, so he was not coming out to summer league, at least at the start.

I didn't know that. Now I understand. I just thought it was weird that he wasn't here. So it had to be something extraordinary. Turns out, it was. :)

Lip have you seen any of former Iowa Wolves player Lindell Wiggington play for the Bucks in Summer league? It seems like he has been putting up some nice stat lines.

I'm back in Minnesota now. Never got the chance to see the Bucks play.

I watched the highlights from the game last night. He looked pretty good and had some nice passes.
