Its some weird nod to hockey. In that sport it makes sense because people will actually target your injury.

The best part about tonight is that I haven't had to watch Hernangomez play.

Rubio just hit his second three of the game. I think I heard an obese woman sing off in the distance. Wait, why does that pig have wings?

Wolves hanging in there down 15. Minnesota has them right where they want them.

Minnesota's leading shot takers tonight -- Malik Beasley and Anthony Edwards -- are a combined 8-25 shooting with 22 points.
The only reason the Wolves aren't down by 30 is because of Jaylen Nowell.

Through three quarters of play, Minnesota's getting crushed on the glass (29-41, Dallas) and in points in the paint (22-38, Dallas). Shocker.
Wolves down 18 heading into the fourth. We've got a close one tonight, folks.

Rubio and Okogie have hit 60% of their 3s this game. They have clearly turned the corner.

Minnesota is absolutely a jump-shooting team that has a super limited amount of capable shooters. The vaunted "system" centers on three-point shooting and yet the Wolves have a maximum of five shooters that are league average or above from deep -- and two of them are centers. Who the fuck put this team together and why are they still employed?
