It is fun to watch but I will never take anything from SL. Dunn was a stud last year and brogan was the 76th highest scoring player

Agreed. It's a glorified version of AAU. It's obviously nice if your player does well versus struggles, but we should think of it as a sugar high.

I never thought Dunn looked good in those 2 games. Q's description of SL being a sugar high is pretty good. However I do think there is some stuff you can take from summer league games...if you watch all the games not just highlights or a couple games. But mostly like I said above...fun stuff.

I would be willing to bet a lot of money that he stays with Utah.

I'm not going to take your bet. I too am certain Hayward stays in Utah. Boston seems like a better destination for him if he want to win. Boston with the addition of Hayward, the maturation of Brown and the addition of Jayson Tatum would be legitimate contenders to dethrone the Cavs for the Eastern Conference title next season.

While I understand the necessity of trading Rubio to Utah, I suddenly find myself becoming a fan of the Jazz. I kind of what Harward to stay in Utah, for Rubio's benefit!

I read a little about that yesterday and...it sounds like maybe Gordon requested it maybe he was relatively pleased by the move. I think he would be happy to not just be rolling with some young PG like Exum next season as the starter. Regardless clearly the Jazz really wanted Rubio (gave up and asset and did a deal before FA) and are making him a legit part of their organization at this point which is nice to see. I wish that could have happened here. I think the fit for him and the Jazz is very good though much better than if he was here. It's probably nice for him to have a fresh start.

It's also funny after all those years and years of rumors reports of him going to the Knicks he ends up...with the Jazz helping to recruit Gordon Hayward. Its hilarious and kinda awesome.

Yeah, I'm with you Tim. Hayward noticed what most us is know...Ricky makes players better. I"m going to be cheering for the Jazz this year too (unless we are competing with them in the standings, in which case I"ll have to cheer against them!)

The NBA players run this league now more than rverybwith their relationships with each other. Supposedly Ingles and Hayward are best friends. Ingles played with Rubio in Europe. So it's possible Ingles was part of selling Hayward on Rubio. Ingles is the key to everything!!! Lol It's also possible that like I said before Hayward is just happy to have a legit starting vet PG on the squad instead of some vastly unproven guy. Even though it will add to the competition and the ridiculous western conference I'm cheering for Hayward to stay there and hoping for solid success for Rubio. I don't think the Jazz are real high level contenders right now unless someone else really emerges from their roster. I think they are more just a really good team and that's not a bad thing.

Agreed also. They have drafted well and it is something the wolves will need to do with later draft picks to keep getting better

I'm a huge Rubio fan and I like to see smaller market teams do well. But I'm a die hard Wolves fan and I see the Jazz as a major competitor to the Wolves for playoff position. So I have to hope Hayward surprises me and jumps to the Celtics or Heat.

Report has Jamaal Crawford possibly going to the Warriors after a buy-out. I wish good players would stop going there!!!
