Been reading about Jamal Murray + Gary Harris for Jimmy Butler trade rumors.

I don't even have to tell you how much of a win that would be. I think the Wolves would actually get better overall just from that trade.

I'd also expect a Jeff Teague trade if that were to happen.

I would be happy with Harris, Alexander and a pick

Screw what he wants. We need to send him to whoever offers us the best deal, ideally from an eastern conference team.

I saw those also. I would be so happy, just can't see that happening, but it would be awesome.

That would be interesting. I hate the idea of arming a western conference rival with the best player in the deal, but that would be a decent return for Butler (all things considered).

Dont disagree, but he can somewhat dictate where he goes because teams wont give up much knowing he would be a rental

Exactly Q - That's the right attitude about this

We have finally reached peak Wolves!

I'm surprised by it just from the fact that literally nobody talked to each other at all this summer between Towns, Jimmy, Thibs et al and all of a sudden the meeting and trade demand comes in just the last 2 days. What changed from the end of the year to now to escalate the situation to this level?

This organization is so dysfunctional and has been for years. Decades actually. The culture of the team has always been really bad. Can anybody think of a time when our owner, front office, and players acted like professionals? It's just so disappointing.

Whatever happened to just talking to someone like an adult? Why can't anybody in this organization do that?

Flip stayed in touch with his players and created a good atmosphere. Thibodeau was never cut out to head up an organization. He's a terrible communicator and clearly not intuitive. The fact that he didn't see this coming (especially given his relationship with Jimmy) or saw but ignored it plumbs new depths of incompetence. Why anyone (including Glen Taylor) thought Thibodeau could be trusted as PBO given his personality, track record with the Bulls front office and absence of any experience in an NBA front office or as head of any organization is beyond me. But actually, the only one who even trusted him in that role is Glen Taylor (and a number of Wolves fans). Thibodeau and David Kahn have to be two of the dumbest front office hires in modern NBA sports history.

That would be a good return, but I didn't think they were one of his three teams.

if its just the clippers, Id take Gallo, Gortat, Alexander, and future first for Butler and Dieng. Then look to deal Teague at the deadline if things go bad.
