Would be a helpful addition.
But he'd probably cost about 4 yr/$120M+, right?

Good find. They will figure it out we just need to reset expectations here. We are on course.
It really is a pretty shot. And he's already surpassed what I thought he could be as a player.
Now... about that defense...

Anywhere from 4/80 to 4/100 sounds about right. Doubt he gets more than that even with some teams willing to spend. Tough to gauge at the moment. And yes, I'd be in on him for that price.

Unless the market has already changed significantly from last offseason (it probably will be tempered some), I don't see how Ibaka settles for less $20M per year. Although my $120M number might not even be possible. I don't know.
I just see him being offered the max.

I agree with the first part of your post. I don't see Ibaka taking less than $20M per, especially considering what Bismack Biyombo ($18M per) and Timofey Mosgov ($16M per) got last summer. You could also throw in Tristan Thompson's $16.5M per as a comparison. He's vastly superior than them in my view and the market should be stronger for him.
I don't believe he can get a max contract, though. I don't think he's a comparable commodity to the likes of Al Horford or obviously Kevin Durant. Paul Millsap should join them as a max contract this off-season. Even the best agent only has so much bargaining power. Ibaka is a tier (or two depending on how you rank players) behind them.

Didn't guys like Chandler Parsons get max deals though? That's what I was using as a comparison.
