Is offense the problem? The Knicks scored 62 in a half.

If we're gonna spend $8 mil on a vet chaperone, I think it woulda been better to have KG instead of Rush and Hill

Only if the KG we got was without a negative attitude, which with the firing of Smitch was unlikely.

I haven't missed a play and I haven't seen Wiggins initiate the offense even 1 time. Do you not want him to touch the ball at all?

Then I guess we have a different idea of what it means to initiate the offense. If Ricky dribbles the ball across center court and immediately hands it off to Cole at the top the key and Cole then immediately hands it off to Wiggins who starts dribbling and looking for a shot or pass it seems to me that Wiggins is initiating the offense. Or perhaps "running" the offense is a better term. The point is that Wiggins not Ricky was the main ball-handler/decision-maker in the half court offense in that play. So maybe you missed that play Cool.

The point is that the offense shouldn't bad designed so that Ricky immediately hands the ball off at the very beginning of the half Cory possession with Wiggins as the primary ball-handler and Ricky spotting up on the perimeter. That's what happened on that play and what's been happening a lot this season. Maybe you just don't see those plays.

What I saw is Wig having a limited amount of touches in the half. Since he's one of the best offensive players in the game today, I would think we would want the ball in his hands at least occasionally. He's not doing us any good standing in the corner.

Wiggins at his best is a finisher, not an initiator. It's a poor use of his talent to give him the ball at the very beginning of our half-court possession. He's a poor ballhandjer prone to sloppy turnovers and poor decision-maker prone to bad decisions including ill-advised 2-point jumpers.

That doesn't mean he should camp out in the corner and wait for the ball to come to him at the end of the shot clock. He can make cuts to the basket and be on the receiving end from Ricky on pick and rolls, etc. there are lots of wYs to use him other than as our primary ball handler early in the shot clock.

But enough of this. This team sucks and Wiggins is only one of many reasons.

I think you're right. But unfortunately there's a lot of competition for that "honor."

How much worse could his negative attitude have made this team?

When you're about to be 5-14, everyone's attitude will become negative. The Dalai Lama could be on this team and start saying "to hell with this squad" after a month of this

Wolves suck defensively. I have no idea what we're doing on the offensive end.

Trading baskets.

I'll never understand the insistence Thibs has on bringing back the starting five to start the 2nd half.
