Yeah that deal seems like a win for the Clips. A guy who wasn't playing for Jeff Green. Poor Lance just wont be able to figure it out. So who can Memphis add now to Barnes and Lance for the all insanity team?

Yeah that was my take until I learned that Memphis gets a 2019 protected 1st round pick. Its clear Clippers are in a go now mode and Memphis might be doing a bit of a rebuild.

Yeah i wasn't aware about the pick. That is bad. 2019 seems a long ways from now but I can't help thinking that Doc might be building another colossal nightmare for the Clippers.

"Ian Begley ESPN Staff Writer
We're told that the Knicks have not made a move at the trade deadline. They talked to Minnesota about Ricky Rubio, per sources. They also inquired about Kevin Martin, according to ESPN's Marc Stein. But they were unable to execute a deal."
What would NY have to offer?

Memphis wasn't going anywhere with Jeff Green and Lance is likely to end up being worthless but who knows they likely have playing time they could play him and see what happens.

I get it for both teams, Doc is trying to save his job and Memphis is looking to the future. I do think that Doc may be a bit delusional and desperate though. His performance in the GM/Coach role has been more than questionable. He took a good core and seems to keep stretching himself to the max with expensive role players.

Well yet again the NBA trade deadline came and went and was a dud. I love how they always put big name players in these potential trades and they never happen.
Go wolves.

Yeah, a lot of hype but very little action. Last year, there was less hype and more action and in 2014 it was like this year (a lot of hype and little action). I'm noticing a trend.

This guy did get moved though...
"I think Channing is going to be like Tim Duncan in maybe three, four or five years," Marbury said. "They play the same way."
