Can you imagine the gloom and doom there would be on this board if the Wolves lost by 23 at home to the Pistons...things are just getting worse in the Mistake by the Lake.

I'm not sure Kevin Love could have a box score that better defines his impact on a game...20 points, 10 rebounds, and a minus 25!

After getting run off the court at home by the hapless Pistons, only one question remains unanswered...

Are the Cavs tanking? :)

Cleveland has 3 of the top 10 players in the league when it comes to minutes played. Blatt is going to run LeBron, Love and Irving into the ground. Irving missed tonight because of a sore knee. Not a good sign!

Ouch, a 19 point loss to Mavs in Cleveland. The Cavs' defense wasn't very good when LeBron was playing, and without him it is Wolves-like...Dallas shot 56% from the field today and 46% on threes. Cleveland is now just 2 games ahead of the 7th seed in the horrible east. Will they beat the 76ers tomorrow night???????????????

Never thought I see it, but Lebron James is on the decline. Defensively he's given up.

Mavs have a great team though. They will be hard to beat come playoffs.

Just to be clear, u guys are aware the Wolves are 5-27 and haven't won a game in forever. Yet we somehow are looking down our noses and scoffing? Come on Man!!

Totally different situations, porkchop. The Wolves were projected to win 25 games this year, and that was before they lost three starters. Cleveland, on the other hand, was basically crowned champion before the season even started. People...well, me... were mocked when they suggested the Cavs might ONLY win 56 games. Now they find themselves in a dogfight with the Bucks and Brooklyn for the 5th spot in the East!

I'm not a fan of players trying to form "superteams", and I'm not a fan of Kevin Love. Since I can't enjoy a winning season for my Wolves, I'm at least going to savor the train wreck that is happening in Cleveland. I gotta get my gratification somewhere!

Heh, not many folks here agreed with that prediction of 25 wins. I recall the vast majority of folks predicting 30+ wins, some even 50-ish, which was just silly even if we stayed 100% healthy the entire season.

I'm not necessarily a Love fan on a personal level, but boy, his post defense and rebounding are miles better than Thad or AB. We miss him.

I think Adrien is just fine defending the post and rebounding for us. The Cavs losing to me is just like how I didn't want the Heat to win. i will say I thought Love would be better then he has been there. That has been pretty surprising. I think if anyone leaves it will be him for the Lakers.

Don't necessarily disagree, but unfortunately he is stuck playing backup Center. I'd love for Flip to slide him over as our starting PF just to see how that affects our team defense and rebounding. I doubt it would dramatically improve, but I have to believe having some muscle and rebounding next to Dieng would be a small step in the right direction. Add Rubio back into the mix and perhaps we even start climbing out of the discussion of all-time worst defenses. As it stands today, we never have two true bigs on the floor at the same time and we are getting eaten alive in the paint as a result.
