Not sure how you beat a team whose two point guards - Brooks and Beverley, who are shooting a combined 30% from 3 this season - knock down 11 fucking shots from beyond the arc. What the hell!? Those are actually the two guys you want taking those shots.
And we just killed them in turnover differential, 23 to 10 (it was 23 to 8 before we cleared the bench). In fact, between our offensive rebounding and turnover differential, we took 21 more shot attempts than they did.....And still lost by 11. And the FTA differential was zero.
Karma owes us big time.

Remember Portland last January? Yep. This was almost as insane.

Nah, they were playing their fourth game in five nights while traveling to Houston who has been resting for the past two days. Combine that with Houston just having one of those can't miss nights and it's surprising they didn't lose by 25+! The upcoming schedule is brutal though, gotta hope they rest up and get their legs back under their shots.

I have a hard time saying that we lost this game due to the schedule when our bench was 5-23. (those guys weren't wore out, were they?) Our bench is a collective black hole.
Plus, we are a pretty bad road team right now.
Corey was impressive tonight. I hate to think about how bad that game would have been without him.

Yeah, Portland and Golden State seem to always crucify us. The difference though is that Portland is supposed to make 3's. Guys like Matthews, Batum, and Lillard can shoot. But we got torched by two mediocre-at-best shooters tonight.

Ok. I only saw about 5 minutes of the game. But I read this thread. I assumed from reading it that Kevin Love sucked balls.
There are 6 negative posts about his play. One positive, which was "Kevin Love heating up."
The are 4 positive threads about Ricky Rubio. Nothing negative was written about him.
Then, I read the box score.
Love: 27 / 15 / 2 / 50%
Rubio: 7 / 5 / 8 / 33%
I wouldn't have thought Love pulled off that kind of statline based on the comments here.
1. Is he really a stats sheet stuffer for a bad team type of guy?
2. Are fans just too used to those kinds of lines from him?
[Note: I realize Rubio's defense was being praised. And he's the best in the NBA at steals. I don't know if he was guarding Brooks or Beverley at all, but I see those two went off...]

well Love started shooting like 3-12 in first half with 0-2 from 3pt range and did not played well and Ricky was like 1-3 but knocked down pretty nice 3 and played quite well, however at the end of a day summary looks different as Love played quite well in second half and Ricky regressed, but with the scores being 15pts in the hole, there were obviously very little game based comments coming

Yeah, as m4gor said, Love got a lot of his points late. He worked hard, but you could tell he was tired because Terrence Jones outplayed him for much of the game...that shouldn't happen.

The worst part of that Portland game was that Portland was on the road playing their 4th game in 5 nights. Before the game, Batum said to a teammate that his legs were dead, and he just wanted to get the game over and go home. Then he goes out and hits 5 or 6 threes! The Wolves were playing their JV team that night though, in all fairness.
