Values he looks for in QB:
"character, decision making, timing and accuracy"

That points to Teddy for me.

He also said he wants the guy to be mobile so that pretty much eliminates Bradford. I think a lot of what he said could point to Keenum too.

I agree. The hire looks even better not that Colts hired Frank Reich. I am sure the Eagles would have loved to have Defilippo back as OC. He has been getting some great praise in the media around the country. It sounds like he also interviewed with Bear and Cards for HC jobs.

It's interesting we got that deal done to bring him here. While he would have been the OC with the Eagles here he will be calling the plays and be the main voice in the room for the organization for the offense. Zimmer is a defensive guy and either he Eagles he would have been 2nd when it comes to the offense to the head coach. I saw that they blocked the Giants from interviewing Stefanski. My theory is not only do they value him highly but they also realize he could be their top pick in less than a year if they need an OC because Defilippo is a HC somewhere.

The hire is good, for a couple reasons. It weakens the Eagles and the Eagles had a great scheme last year as Foles stepped in and did really well. (Yes I understand he was the QB coach, duh), But still it is possible our offense could be even better next year.

His experience in a great system and his prior coaching experience will bring credibility and hopefully he has learned some things that can bring our offense up to a higher level.

If Cook can come back 100% and our OLine takes another set up, things could be real good.

I agree with what you are saying. The Eagles could have kept him from interviewing for 10 days after Superbowl since he was under contract and let him interview with Vikings. That tells me they had no clue what Frank would leave. I hope they gave Stefanski a bump in pay. I could see a guy that has been here a long time likely the stability here. You never know what will happen in NY with Shumur. Things could be rocky and they both would be out of a job again this time next year. I think Zimmer has bought himself another year at least here. I think the owner really like him. I don't think he is the best in game coach, but he fundamentally is great.

I believe his contract expired after the Super Bowl so he wasn't under contract, thus the Vikings didn't need the Eagles permission to interview/hire him.

I noticed this after one of the articles Bleed posted. Vikings were rated #1 by PFF on special teams.

I swear I saw something that said it expired 10 days after the Superbowl.

Googled and found this.

If the Jets cut him should we target him? Muhammad Wilkerson Do we thinik he can be motivated? Do we think we have the coaches that can do it?

https://985thesportshub.com/2018/02/14/muhammad-wilkerson-free-agency-patriots/

In the final season before signing his extension, Wilkerson amassed 12 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and 7 passes defensed in 16 games. He was named a second team All-Pro that season. He's still just 28 years old. So it's not far-fetched to believe that Wilkerson can still be an extremely disruptive player if he's in the right program and the right system. In the final season before signing his extension, Wilkerson amassed 12 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and 7 passes defensed in 16 games.
