Sixers traded MCW a couple days ago, now rumors surface about them being very interested in Mudiay. I'd bet that's their target in this draft, which is good if they're picking ahead of us.

Yea but the 76ers will take the best player avaiable, even if they have 2 bigs. They'll just trade them in 2 years anyway

That is incredibly ironic, considering the fact they were worried about MCW's outside shooting and turnovers.

A lot of the extreme analytics types (these are people far more nerdy than me) view Hinkie as a genius. We'll see. It's one thing to accumulate tons of picks, but does he know how to use them? He was the one that selected MCW, so that would be one strike against him.

They can always draft BPA and work a draft day trade too. A la the Wolves with Melo/Love.

Q, are you saying drafting last year's rookie of the year was a mistake? I hope we can make that same mistake next year.

I'm just gonna say it: I'd draft Towns over Okafor. I know that's frowned upon right now, but it is what it is. That guy is going to be the best player from this draft. Hold me to it.

He had a nice game today...scored with Okafor-like efficiency, but also was a force on the boards and D. Good to see him bounce back after a couple poor scoring games.

Now it's time to see what Stanley Johnson can do against UCLA. Stanley's a SoCal high school legend...some there say the greatest of all time...so this is a big game for him.

Love that Towns can put his stamp on games without scoring or needing the ball. The 10 rebounds and 4 blocks can attest to that. Rebounds out of his area and he's got great instincts as a shot blocker. Did you notice his body is starting to look less top-heavy? He looked very good physically.

He also flashed his versatility on offense. Operated in the post. Showed that he can put the ball on the deck. Faced-up and buried the mid-range jumper. Was a monster on the glass. Oh, and he's a 78% FT shooter when he gets to the line. Okafor can't do that. He's tremendous in the post, but put him in space and it's not good.
