Some Jaden McDaniels notes in today's pod:
- 63% from 2 + 52% from 3 since becoming a starter
- Wolves have lost 33 of 41 games he's played in, yet only outscored by 20 total points in his minutes
- Equivalent of No. 6 D w/ him on floor, No. 27 w/ him off

Incredible stuff. He's contributing a lot more to winning basketball than Ant. Absolute hell of a pick by Rosas if this keeps up.

Just a seven game sample size here as a starter but the early returns are good. I said this about a week ago, but I think he's a better three than he is four. His length is more overwhelming at the wing whereas his size, or lack thereof, is less of an issue. That's not to say that he can't do his job at the four or that he won't eventually put on more strength and weight. I just think his floor and ceiling is higher as a three. He has the mobility and instincts to play either it seems.

I'm assuming when DLO and Okogie come back, the starting lineup will be:

DLO
Beasley
Ant
McDaniels
KAT

I'm hoping they don't put Okogie back at the 4. But I agree with Cam that Jaden's best position is the 3. At least at this point in his development.

Cool - That's the starting lineup I've assumed we'd see upon DLO's return. That's definitely the starting lineup I'd put on the floor. But I agree with you that Jaden's best position is the 3. That's what made John Collins such an intriguing trade target for the Wolves. How about a starting lineup of McDaniels, Collins and KAT at the 3, 4 and 5 to start next season? I could get excited about that. But it's not going to happen.
