Would be a good chance to get Nowell some more run at the 1

Here's a fun stat. Minnesota's down by 18 and yet Rubio's currently sitting at a -3 plus-minus. And yet if you've watched the game you'd know that he's been worse than that through his 26 minutes of action.

It's odd how different lineups and various factors can impact that part of the box score.

Nowell's deadly short mid-range game just wrecks drop coverage. He has such a nice touch from that 3-10 foot range.

Nowell's the only reason why I'm still watching this game.

Naz Reid has not had a good game tonight on either end.

At minimum a nice moral victory here. Dallas has all their guys healthy and the two most talented players on the floor in Doncic and Porzy. Good on Minnesota to hang in there.

Challenge that

Good on Saunders to use a challenge there. Huge play if it's reversed. Could be a scored bucket plus the foul. He's been embarrassing on that front ever since he became a head coach. Growth? Heh.
