And we made the playoffs which is something he couldn't deliver to us so it's a win-win.
And only squeaked by the Nuggets to ultimately get slaughtered by the Rockets in 4 games. Yay.
We weren't going to win the title this year. Why does it matter so damn much if we lose in 4 to the Rockets in the first round or best case scenario in 4 to the Warriors in the second round when Steph comes back? You guys are all trying to sprint to a title without taking the little steps you need to eventually get there. Unless you add Lebron your path to a title isn't a one season ordeal.
This team had pretty much nothing to do with previous teams, that is my point. You add 3 veteran starters in exchange for youth, well I expect to make the playoffs. Every season is different, especially when you overhaul the roster.
The media plays up the 13 year drought, but it was meaningless to this team mostly.

Realistic fans agreed with me doper in the poll. I consider underachievement a failure. Live up to your potential Wolves.
Wow you must be miserable right now.
I'd be happy either way. :D

Sometimes kissing your sister is good enough.
Yes Thibs can't figure out how to leverage the talent he has.
Yes Wig could be more assertive and effective offensively.
Yes Towns is a black hole on defense.
But this board didn't exist the last time the Wolves made the playoffs.
Many of us came from a defunct espn board. Some of you were in school.
Celebrate

If you can't be happy for literally one night when we make the playoffs for the first time in 14 years because you are already looking ahead to the playoffs then why are you here? 14 fucking years and people are bitching about it. How can you be a fan of this team and yet not even be happy for one night after what they just accomplished tonight?

Exciting game with playoff hockey intensity. Who can't get on board with that?
Sadly half the people on here, this board was a lot more fun when the Wolves were losing 55 games a year . I just can't figure it out.

Let them be unhappy. Tonight is what sports is about. Gave me joy and a shot of adrenaline that is hard to get in other ways. If we had to be the 8th seed to get it so be it.
We dancing

Seriously it hasn't even sunken in yet. Maybe tomorrow it will seem real. It seemed like a heck of a game and I started watching just a few minutes into the final quarter. That was fun basketball.
