Its amazing that lavine took 0 3pt shots tonight. If I were the coach, I'll tell him to shoot 6-8 3's per game. Dont care about the percentages, just shoot it.

That's the lineup I want to see too.

He already made 50% of team three pointers in this game. How you can want even more tripples from him? :P

If you watched the Jazz, they actually set up plays for 3-point shots. Mitchell never runs a set designed to get a 3-point shot, it's more happenstance. So yes, he can tell Zach, "go shoot more 3's!", but a better approach would be to actually institute sets that were designed to get him 3's.

35 minutes, 0 rebounds, 0 assists.

If Andrew Wiggins didn't wanna play tonight he shoulda just let Mitchell know.

I agree. The jazz run dribble hand offs that leads to hood or hayward taking 3's. They run plays that set up the corner 3. Players actaully position in the corners when they do run the break. With us, everyone moves closer to the basket. Even in fast breaks, everyone runs to the rim. While it is not wrong to run to the rim in fastbreaks, but when you see everyone else doing it, it might be wiser to spread out and try an uncontested 3.

The thing is, we run dribble hand offs too. But they are inside of the arc, doh! In fact, one of LaVine's first buckets was hand-off action that led to a pure 20-footer from him. Why!? Back that thing up, just like the Rubio-Towns pick and pop!

I'm not sure where his head was tonight, but let's not complain about his assist total. He made several passes for would-be assists that weren't converted. He can only make the pass, not make the shot too.

Absolutely!! That's the lineup I wanted when the season started and I've wanted it ever since. Those are our most talented players under 30. They should be playing a lot and playing a lot together. LaVine gives us another ballhandler on the floor with Ricky and a bona fide perimeter shooter.

I'm not worried about Andrew's assist totals. I'm not even worried about an off-night shooting from him. What concerns me about Wiggns is his consistently poor rebounding numbers, all too frequent failure to hustle back on defense, and repeated failure to come up with or even pursue loose balls. I certainly hope he can improve his awkward handle as well as his three-point shooting. And I definitely think he can. But I worry that the other things I mentioned are things that are deeply rooted in his nature and, therefore, unlikely to change much. If so, then I'm doubly thankful we have KAT as a star to build around. Aw
