Wolves @ Jazz - GDT - Maybe Tonight?

Post by Volans19 »

I've got a good feeling about tonight, so I'll tee this up. Coming off a highly competitive shoot-out against the Thunder playing a team in the Jazz who just routed Charlotte, the Wolves have a chance to catch the Jazz off-guard. The Jazz are finally healthy-ish enough to be a potentially scary team. Maybe we won't win but I'm anticipating another entertaining game.

Will Zach build off his hot night? Will Wigs have one of those games where we forget about some of his shortcomings this season. Can Ricky take advantage of the Jazz's sub-par PG's?

I'm finally starting to get away from the dread that normally accompanies watching the Wolves.

Here is a great article on the Jazz by Zach Lowe which could also apply to us in a year or two.

Agreed, Vols. There is a different feel about the team now than there was a couple weeks ago. Hopefully the wins start coming, too. Well, with more frequency, anyway...

[Edit: Yeah, that's my cat a day before, well, you know. The shadow effect reminds me of the Wolves logo!]

Utah and Sacramento have put together some pretty competitive squads this season, especially when healthy. It's pretty depressing watching teams that used to be in the gutter like us rise up out of it while we continue to wallow in the mud.

Then you have a team like Portland that has gone through something like 3 iterations of re-tooling in the time we've been in the dumps and every single time they put together a team that's better than us.

Frustrating.

If KAT and Deing can keep Rudy out of the paint by hitting their mid-range shots that will go along way towards a win

Jim Pete said the Wolves are leading the league in FG% since the Suns' game. If only we would take more 3-point shots...
