Trolling across platforms, don't hurt yourself with that stretch. You joined a Vikings forum I had been a member of for years and to let you know it was me I said "Wiggins sucks", that's it. In our back and forth here I had been clear in that I really disliked him, so the post wasn't trolling, just meant to be funny. I guess that hurt your feels so bad you're still holding a grudge.

Wow. I've been incredibly busy with work and family the last 12 hours and now I see a firestorm has erupted in this thread. Who knew that Cam's summary of a podcast would trigger WWIII. :).
I still haven't listened to the Dane Moore podcast with DLO yet, but I'm not sure I need to after reading Cam's thorough summary. :). Seriously, I really appreciate the work Cam put into the summary. It was a great read. I'm a basketball fan and a Wolves fan. And I love reading good posts that provide lots of information, insights or well-informed opinions. The quality of posts on this board as a whole far exceeds the quality of posts in other Wolves forums or the many Wolves-related blogs you'll find in the blogosphere.
Looking forward to DLo and Dane. Reading the shitstorm felt pretty lame. Maybe this is why Timberwolves fans cant have nice things? We have arguably the best team weve ever had and were fighting.
Just transferred from TX to CA been super busy, decided to catch up some and boy did I miss some fireworks. Even if it was emotional build up, I think that passion is what makes us feel alive.

I finished watching the last few minutes. I'm not sure this is much watch/listen stuff but I think there were some interesting points for sure. Russell's praise for McDaniels communication was one thing I learned.
It's a really fun time where we are able to have access to athletes and various people that bring us more knowledge and insight. I like Dane Moore quite a bit. I don't agree with everything he said but he brings some good knowledge and perspective that I appreciate. It's also great to see a guy that started from not much to know being a guy that's legitimately having a job doing this. I still remember when most of sports news was still in a newspaper and more in depth stuff was in various magazines.

Agreed Lip, some great insights here and Cam is definitely a big part of it. The two or three posters that get irritated by his DLO takes should just avoid the DLO-themed threads. It's a very simple strategy that mature adults should be able to implement.
I just listened to the podcast. I didn't learn anything that wasn't already included in Cam's summary, but it's still worth listening to just to hear the enthusiasm in DLO's voice. Hearing directly from him also underscores how intelligent he is. The downside to listening to the podcast is listening to Dane Moore. Don't get me wrong, I like Dane. He seems like a really nice guy and knows a little about basketball. But he talks WAY to much. If you counted words, he talked way more than DLO. He needs to learn how to conduct an interview. My message to Dane is: We don't want to hear what you think; we want to hear from the player or coach you're interviewing. Dane's young so he can learn. But I still appreciate Dane for providing a Wolves talk forum and, again, he seems like a really nice guy.
