I suppose it would be tough to be sent down there after all the PT he's received in the big leagues, But again, other players in the past have toggled between the D-league and NBA within a season and it's worked out fine.
Rubio will eventually be playing his usual 35ish min. I see no issue having Lavine & even Daniels in there for the other 13 min for the rest of this season. Next year is a different story and it would largely depend on how those 2 played the rest of the season. I personally like the idea of Lavine at the 2 for the majority of his minutes, but this year for me is all about learning, improving and building chemistry.
Were they on a very young talented team that was trying to build chemistry while also having a run of 20 games playing a good chunk of minutes?
Unfortunately, we have little control over our D-league. It may not be a very good option.
Our biggest need is at PF. I will not be surprised if Flip musters some sort of trade that involves Mo Williams or Kevin Martin. I wish Young could be traded, but I suspect he's played himself out of that scenario...
I keep seeing some suggest that if we send a guy to the DLeague, it will allow the team to keep a 16th player. Is this a new rule? It was never that way before. DLeague players still count against the 15 man roster. Someone has to go to add a new player.
Phenom - I am not saying we get 16 men. I am saying if Bennett goes to D-League it means Adrien is still on the team. That means GR3 or Hummel is gone.

That wording make more sense but there are a few instances in this thread where it seems to suggest that sending someone to the DLeague opens up a roster spot.
Wiggins is on a six game tear right now. Scoring 20+ in five of those six. Also scoring with efficiency as all six he's been better than 44% from the field. Five of six he's been 50% or better. Reasons why? He's more aggressive and getting better looks even though he's creating mainly for himself. Post-ups (how pretty is that pivot move), straight line drives, free throws. I wonder if Flip told him to stop settling for that long jumper and to attack the painted area. Hopefully he keeps this play up. I've been impressed with his scoring over this stretch.
One thing I like that Flip is doing - often times coming out of a timeout he has a play designed for Wiggins. And his success rate on those plays has been really good. It provides hope that maybe he can become a go-to guy at the end of games.
