He played solid, I still think his biggest weakness is rebounding. With his size and athleticism he should get a lot better though.

He averaged 11 rebs per 36 in the G-League, so at least he held his own down there.

But how many were offensive rebounds? He has that part of the game figured out because it's all about size, athleticism and hustle. It's the boxing out that needs work.

Three days off now before going to Houston. And they have to play OkC the night before!

That performance off the bench by Bones (+41 in 21 minutes), Clark (+26 in 18 minutes), and Joan (+30 in 30 minutes) is certainly giving Tim Connelly some pause in terms of potential trade deadline moves.

Yeah, it sure seems like a Dilly trade is the main possibility, and only if it makes sense. Otherwise, wait for the buyout market and see what makes sense for that last roster spot. I still think SloMo is a real possibility.

It should give him a lot of pause. Bones and Clark have been very solid for quite a while now. Nothing like getting the opportunity. Note that Mike Conley’s net was 0 tonight compared to every other starter who ended up +18 or better. Meanwhile Bones was +41. Would Rob’s net have been any worse if he had gotten all or even half of Mike Conley’s minutes? It’s time to move on from Mike Conley. And it’s time to stop pining for some grass-is-greener alternative to the guys we have.

The Joan and Clark minutes together were a lot of fun to watch. Jaden is getting really good at the lobs.
