I guess Charlotte didn't want to pay for two first round picks as they want to extend Miles Bridges as that Milwaukee pick will probably be a worse pick. Nice move for Detroit.

Nobody's touching Detroit in Summer League! On a serious note, I like the trade to get Jalen Duren. He'll slide in the middle of lineups featuring Jaden Ivey, Cade Cunningham, and Saddiq Bey. Might be a fun team to follow on League Pass.

AJ Griffin seems to be falling a bit. Gotta wonder about those injuries. Heard he used to be pretty athletic, and if he could get that back with his shooting, that might be nice to have.

So it's Mark Williams -- NOT Jalen Duren -- that finds himself at center for Charlotte for the foreseeable future. Exceptionally long and bouncy. Physical presence down low. LaMelo Ball and Williams will be on plenty of highlight reels together. Lob City 2.0?
