Does this team even want to win? The players haven't shown that desire. I too feel like they may have let the hype get to them a bit. I'm hopeful it comes this year, but every embarrassing loss feels like a punch to the stomach.

I think we need to make a trade. The mix needs to change. One idea: Ricky for Okafor.

PG - Zach
SG- Wig
SF- Towns
PF - G
C - Okafor

Have you seen Okafor? Minutes restriction, lack of defense, questionable motor.

He'd fit in so well here.

Hard to find anything good about yet another embarrassing loss tonight. But I'll try. Our bench overall wasn't bad. Dunn looked pretty good on both ends. Bazz also looked good on the offensive end. And I like that Zach was aggressive, attacking the basket and getting to the line 7 times. I still think he may end up a better overall player than Wiggins for several reasons. First, he seems mentally tougher than Wiggins. Second, he's a naturally better shooter. Third he's a much better (more natural) ball-handler. Note that he had significantly fewer college minutes than Wiggins and fewer NBA minutes his first two seasons.

KAT and Wiggins both shot terribly and were bad defensively as well. But at least KAT pulled down 11 boards with 3 assists, a steal and 2 blocks. While shooting a pathetic 2-19, Wiggins had zero rebounds, zero assists and zero blocks. With his length and athleticism that is positively disguisting. Even worse that it was his 3rd pathetic performance in a row. Just when I was coming starting to revise my initial assessment of Wiggins and believe in him, he has reminded me why many of us have doubted him. And it reminds me of KG's comment to a former NBA player that Wiggins "has no heart." I can understand a shooting slump, although all-stars don't have the sort of extended slump he's having now. What I can't understand or accept is the lack of any contribution from him in any other area. It's astounding giving his incredible physical gifts.

Overall, I'm disgusted by this team from the coaching staff on down. And I don't foresee a good trade for us this season. In fact, it would be silly to attempt a major trade because we wouldn't be dealing from a position of strength. Other teams would know we're desperate. So it's up to the coaching staff to get a lot more out of what we have this season. If not, we'll have another lottery pick and can hopefully make something of it next summer.

You waffle more than Eggo himself. Less than a week ago you were saying Wiggins was heading for superstardom. And if you're going to wait until we are in a position of strength to make a trade, you're going to be waiting an awful long time. As long as your going to sling arrows at certain players, how about the guy who you think is being underutilized, Ricky? Yeah, great idea to want to have the ball in his hands more. What leadership we're getting from him!

Ricky's biggest problem this year hasn't been his offense. It's his D. From our "best defender". He had completely given up on going over screens and the rest of the team scrambles to make up for him. It was night and day with Dunn and Ricky's D tonight.

This was the deal I thought was there too. Use the cap room for a vet next year. Maybe we could make Cam happy and squeeze Stauskas out of them too.

I cannot agree with this, he has a team that lacks heart. The players are either too stupid or just don't care. My guess the problem is all the offseason adulation has gone to their heads leading to a lack of effort in the early games and their lack of heart to dig themselves out of the issues in the more recent games. They believed they had already arrived before the game 1 tipoff.

Yes, Thibs needs our support. He's just a victim of bad luck here. He had the misfortune to show up as coach in the exact same year the entire team decided to have no heart and no legs in the second half. At least he still gets his $7 million per year.

Ricky always led the team in plus minus status until this year.

Okafor isn't going to help us. We need a defensive stud and that isn't Okafor. Maybe we can trade Thibs. Doc Rivers was traded for a first. Maybe we can get a second rounder for Thibs.
