GDT: Pass the Bourbon... just win.

Post by AbeVigodaLive »

Despite an 0 - 8 start... New Orleans has won 3 in a row... and 5 out of 7 games.

Anthony Davis is a game-time decision. The team is on the backend of a road/home back-to-back for one day before heading back out on the road.

The Wolves, if serious about competing, need to win games like these.

[note: the pelicans aren't only beating patsies. atlanta. charlotte. portland. boston. milwaukee.]

Not worried. Our guys feel embarrassed. Wolves win by 10 points or more.

New Orleans is 3-0 since Jrue Holiday came back, including double digit wins over Portland and in Atlanta...and Davis was in the locker room for more than half the game. The Wolves haven't shown me enough consistency to win games like this. Just like in Memphis, I would take NO plus the points.

All depends on Davis, if he's in we lose, if not we win

O ye have little faith in Towns. He can beat Davis.

Maybe...but Davis was hurt most of the last game, and the Pellies still beat Atlanta on their court by 18. Before the loss, the Hawks were 6-1 at home. They're a much better team since Holiday returned.

Good to have you back Cam. I missed our arguments :) But I can't say I'm enjoying posting here this season after a terrible start. Hopefully I can weather the storm and keep hope alive. I'll take Davis over Towns right now, but Towns will pass him soon.

Many years ago parents from my daughter's volleyball team, which was not entirely successful, had a saying. We lose, we booze!

Might be fitting tonight...

Especially while you're catching up with your old high school buds at the nearest Champps.

I remember a game where we were leading the Pels. Rick Adelman took Ricky out while we were up 10. JJ Barea came in. In 2 minutes it went from being up 10 to down 2 and the team never recovered.

I have a sinking feeling we'll see history repeat itself tonight.
