I like Wiggins being aggressive and looking for his shot but 11/27 is tough to swallow.
Why do players always settle for 3s on last second shots. It's lazy and seems like they think sinking a game ending 3 is sexier than going to the rim with the potential to get fouled.

Yup he just did. Last year, it took 20 games for some to doubt wig. This season it took only 4. By this rate, wig should start dominating in pre season next year!

What an awful game. Nothing positive to take from this win. . .

...is what I am gathering from most of this analysis.

Tough to swallow? He was matched up all game on All NBA defensive player Jimmy Butler. He took Butler to the woodshed tonight, you won't see that very often.

This game showed that if he hunts for his shots, wig could easily score 25-30 a night. He is also not shooting as well as he could and still in a slump shooting wise.

Butler is an a plus defender by the way and a 20ppg scorer last season and wig won his matchup with Butler convincingly.

We got the win on the road vs a playoff team. Good night for us.

I do not mind it. Featuring Wiggins, even when he misses shots puts other players like Ricky, Nema, Bazz and Towns in a position to clean up, which they are good at. Settling for threes/long 2s is an issue and I wish he would have tried to drive on Gibson at least once. There was at least 4 instances where Gibson switched onto Wig and each time Wig settled for the J.

Terrific OT win tonight...and my 4th consecutive incorrect Wolves prediction! It's a good thing I'm not betting the NBA this season.

I realize fouls had a lot to do with it, but Sam's keeping Towns on the bench for much of the game left him fresh in OT...he was a monster at the end of the game. 4 blocks again.

The Bulls ae a good rebounding team, but we outrebounded them 58-50...Towns and Belly were especially tough on the boards.

So great to see Wig being so aggressive on offense although we would all like to see him scoring more efficiently. But how about his defense? He owned Butler all night. Butler tried a few times to get Wig to bite on fakes, and Wig stayed down. What a great performance!

Ricky missed a lot of shots too, but controlled the game on offense and outplayed Rose on both ends of the court.

Belly with a double double in his best game of the year...5 assists too. He and KG played tight defense on Mirotic all night...he was clearly frustrated.

Prince made a couple big baskets, but overall I thought it was his worst game of the year. I was frankly surprised Sam had him out there for 39 minutes, but who am I to question rotations when we win in Chicago!

Low points for me were the horrible free throw shooting (could have easily cost us the game) and an off game from Bazz. I'm not worried about him though.

Once again we defended the perimeter like we never did last year. We aren't going to lose many games when we hold opponents to 35.5% shooting!

Another subtle difference maker is Wiggins at the 2. Chicago likes to run Rose and Brooks together, but they couldn't do it with one of them having to guard Wiggins or Prince. They were forced to match our lineup, not the other way around.

I love that Wiggins was able to score 31 points with Jimmy Butler guarding him for most of the night. Even with poor efficiency (11-27, 5-10 FT), that's still impressive.

The real reason we won tonight, though, was Towns and Bjelica's play on both ends of the court. They work so well together offensively and defensively. Not surprising that they were our No. 1 and No. 2 rebounders and both scored 17 efficient points (Towns going 8-18 against Gasol is fine, IMO. Bjelica went 5-9 with several defenders switching on him).

And as always, when Rubio plays, he impacts the game positively. He's the maestro.

PS: Special shout-out to Tayshaun Prince, who actually gave the Wolves 39 productive minutes, including a huge left-hand runner to put the Wolves ahead late in the game.

Also, [s]back-to-back games[/s] where KG has bricked two huge free throws late in the game. He can't miss those, especially given that his jumper is the only thing we thought he could bring to the table in terms of scoring the basketball. It hasn't been there, and he's starting to become a real liability on that end. Not a shocker that soon after he missed those free throws, Sam yanked him and put in the more productive, much better player in Bjelica.

3-0 on the road! And 3-2 overall. I'm not upset with that at all.

Edit: Not 100% sure it was back-to-back games, but KG did miss consecutive free throws in one of our losses. It might have been the Portland game. Either way, he can't be missing those.

It was a team effort win with multiple players playing their part like most wins are most of the time.
