There are very few guys in the league who are elite at their position in almost every facet of the game. There are very few guys who, given a choice, would pick to play in Minnesota. There is just one in the entire league who falls in both categories. Keep that in mind.
Do I want to pay Ricky the max? I would prefer not, but if it's between a $15mil Ricky staying and a $12mil Ricky leaving, I'll take the one that stays.

Exactly. If there is ONE guy the Wolves should overpay it's Rubio b/c he the type players like to play with and he makes his teammates better. Face of the franchise type. I don't think any of us WANT to pay him more than 10-12. If he doesn't take that before next summer then you have to roll the dice on RFA and match anything.

Chris Broussard @Chris_Broussard
Sources: Suns offered Eric Bledsoe 4-year, $48 million contract. Bledsoe wants max of 5 years, $80 million. Sides far apart
Well that certainly doesn't help us. Hopefully they can find a way to lock him out for about that much. Certainly would help with Rubio negotiations.

Yeah pretty much people complain about Martin making 7 million. Who are the Wolves gonna sign for even 10 milliom that's as good as Rubio?
Also players that are worth 15 million I can think of one his name is Kevin Love. Lol
