Finally Jaden gets a call
Re: Namibia Vibes - Lakers at Wolves GDT
Outside of missing a couple of 3s McDaniels has been insanely good on both sides of the ball.

It will be interesting to see what he adds to his game in the offseason. I wish for life of could find a floater game.FNG wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 10:30 pmSo true, Q. I'm still holding out hope that Ant can learn how easy scoring can be when you let your teammates set you up. In the last minute he missed a trey when he isolated against two defenders, and then drained a wide open trey when Mike found him. He's gonna learn...maybe not in these playoffs though!Q-is-here wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 10:17 pmNot sure Ant is ever going to learn to play the type of basketball most purists like - off ball movement, quick passes, precise reads, etc. I always go back to the Celtics spread offense and how they basically just let their perimeter guys (mostly Tatum and Brown, but White and Holiday too at times) find a weak match up and just isolate them with no one in the paint to get in their way (at least none of their own guys). It simplifies things.FNG wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 10:14 pm
Yeah, LeBron and Reeves have really picked up Luka. We need a lot more from Ant to win this critical game. He's such an amazing offensive force, but can you imagine how good he would be if he learned to move without the ball? I saw him do it once in the first half, and DiVo found him for an easy bucket. He could be a 35 PPG scorer if he realized he has a lot of willing passers who will get him looks.
But the bigger problem is our bench shooting again...2 for 10 on 3's for what is supposed to be our strength.
I think we do underestimate how young he is still. Hopefully the older he gets the game will slow down more and more.

What a weird game, yet I can't explain why it feels weird just all over the place
Re: Namibia Vibes - Lakers at Wolves GDT
Wide open 3 for DDV and he misses it. Ant has been far from perfect, but the bench is supposed to be our strength. Step the eff up!

Wolves need to keep up the intensity and hopefully wear them down soon.

Watch Vanderbilt and Hachimura. So blatant. McDaniels getting hit with moving screens every second possession.Jester1534 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 10:37 pm I mean i know illegal screens dont get called and were doing as well but these guys aren't even trying to hide it
