The Los Angeles Clippers, Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors have agreed on a multi-team trade sending Chris Paul to the Raptors and Ochai Agbaji, a 2032 Raptors second-rounder and cash to the Nets, sources tell ESPN.

When Toronto shut the door on Sabonis, it made me wonder about Rudy...

Everyone not named Ant has been available. Bobby Marks is clearly slow.

Tim, If this whole "most wonderful time of the year" trade deadline ends up being a big nothing-burger, I'm blaming you and Kek! Curses to you both!

Sorta irrelevant... but amusing...
Bill Simmons came out hard touting his Trade Index list. I know he's not really a knowledgeable basketball guy, but he still has a hefty following. Anyway, he had Jaden McDaniels ranked #65 in the NBA.
One spot ahead of Rudy Gobert... one spot behind Garland, two behind Lu Dort and a few spots behind KAT, Embiid and Davis.
[Note: Heck, Julius Randle is ranked #46. LOL.]
Gobert is a multi time dpoy. About to win another. Garland is a former all star. Ranks sound about right. I would have julius further down the ranks closer to those three.
And whoever said Bill doesn't know the nba, is a casual.
If there are 30 teams and each had two good players that is 60 ranks. For context. So nothing about Jadens or Julius' ranks are whack
Simmons definitely knows the NBA in general more than most... but like most, he has blind spots when it comes to individual players and teams. It's impossible to be knowledgeable about every NBA team, while also watching movies repeatedly and opining on them, too while also setting betting lines, doing multiple podcasts, signing huge business deals, et al.
Obviously, he has people doing some of this stuff for him.
But really the point of my post was to point out that regardless of what this board thinks of Jaden McDaniels, it might not match what others think of Jaden McDaniels' value. For example, nobody here has been hesitant about dumping Randle in a Giannis trade... but they are reluctant to part with McDaniels.

I saw another report that ranked Jaden's trade value at #37 in the league and 2nd on the team. Opinions are like assholes................

I see that Chicago is looking to flip Sexton, Simons and Dosomnu still. This is so stressful.
Also I would think Dallas trading Davis opens the door for a Irving trade. That is a trade we should be looking at.

Wolves also have a trade exception from trading NAW that is usable after the Conley trade worth 7.6 or so. That would be enough to take on Dosunmu or Tyus Jones. I wonder if Orlando would pay a first to dump Tyus and avoid starting the repeater clock.
A first from Orlando with Tyus, a first from team A for Rudy, a first from team B for Julius, Rob, TJ and Joan for Giannis and change.
A guy can dream.

Lonzo Ball and 2 seconds to the Jazz. The Jazz are expected to waive ball.
