Beasley goes from doing squadoosh for three quarters to scoring 20 in the fourth quarter for a game-high 28. Unreal.
Five point game.

At minimum another meaningless, insulting-to-the-fans moral victory here. It's embarrassing that he only reason Minnesota is hanging in there is because this is the NBA and teams can coast with a 20+ first quarter lead vs. super craptastic teams like the Wolves.
Fixed your typo for you.

Gotta respect the will and desire from Beasley. Jesus.

Abe, love your cynical outlook generally, but you're a little off key tonight.

Trying a new take. Unlike the Wolves.
The Wolves aren't giving us anything new. Giving up 40+ points in the 1st quarter is more embarrassing than anybody really acknowledged. Still talking about moral victories after these performances is beyond me.
Sorry.
[Note: We're all repetitive here. And I literally have nothing new or novel to add. This was another bad game by another bad team. Another loss that wasn't really all that close any way we want to slice it. Expect me to try a bunch of new gimmicks in another lost season. Some will hit. Some won't. Most will be mocking the Wolves, deservedly.]

Well, Beasley was the team's leading rebounder tonight with 9 boards. He also had 6 assists, a steal and a block. He's been our best scorer all season so far and he consistently rebounds and hustles. He's been one of very few bright spots this season and tonight was no exception. Scoring 30 points on 47% shooting from the field and 50% from behind the arc is fine by me even if most of his scoring came in the 4th quarter. No other T-Wolf player did anything close to that in any quarter. Unfortunately, relying on Beasley as our best or second best player (even as our third) is testament to how horribly this team has been constructed by you know who.

Bummer. Minnesota definitely didn't deserve to win that game, but I would have enjoyed stealing the dub anyways. On to the next beatdown.

Yep. He's the one true gamer on this team. His defense is suspect and we shouldn't be relying on him as our best player. But he's our one tough, hard-nosed, hyper-competitive player who is also a highly skilled scorer and excellent rebounder at his position.

I don't know.....Teams get hot. Porzingas was ridiculous in that first quarter and we're trying to play through a 19-year old rookie and undrafted 2nd year Center for the most part. They had the two most talented players on the floor. Hell, the Wolves hung 45 on the Mavs in the 4th. You think Carlisle is happy about that?
Yes, it's yet another loss and it's fair to criticize Rosas and Saunders for the roster and "the system". But I'm going to give the players big props when they withstand an onslaught like they did in the first quarter and keep giving 100% to get themselves back in the game.
