I wonder how many times we'll say that Saunders got out-coached this year.

Also, for a team that likes to prop up this "system" they have in place... the offense tends to get stuck in no man's land a lot. Guys are forced to make something out of nothing way too much and it leaves guys taking bad shots. Towns and Wiggins have bailed the team out a lot, but it's not a recipe for success.

Thought we defended pretty well again, but god damn, get a full time shooting coach for this team. Free throws are a mess too. If those go in, we win.

Culver had two wide open 3's off KAT double teams that he missed badly. Gotta make at least one of those.

Wiggs was a plus 1, despite loss. Wiggs historically has been a negative player, so this is refreshing to see.

Wolves perimeter defense has been the biggest problem all year. Hopefully, we see some improvement there.

One of the problems with this team is that three of their best perimeter defenders - Okogie, Graham, and Culver (the rookie is very promising on this side of the ball) - can't hit the broadside of a barn. But then when you trot out Teague and Martin with your starters you give up defense. This is why 3&D players are so damn valuable.

Utah double or triple teamed Towns all night. Credit Utah. Wolve's open shooter has to make shots. That's not on Ryan.

We ran Kat off 0 screens to get Kat open looks. We ran a lineup of Wiggins, culver, cov, graham and dieng with 5 minutes left. How the fuck do we score with that lineup.

If they are doubling Kat why is Graham in if he can't shoot one lick and no threat to attack the hoop off the catch.

Jazz damn good at D but we did nothing make there job harder.

I know you hated Thibs so you have to defend Ryan at all costs but he can have a bad game and this was one of them.

Teague struggled also. And Wiggins was inifecient tonight.

But the wolves need to find a way to get Kat more than 10 shots (where 3 were desperation end of the game shots)

MN lost this game mainly because Wiggins didn't have his 3 point shot falling and KAT took way to long to get going. MN had some really nice runs tonight, would have liked to see KBD again in the game he played well in his stint. K. Martin as instant offense appears to be a real thing and G has earned PT over Vonleh and its more about how active G has been then any kind of knock on Vonleh.

Two problems I keep seeing over the year.
#1 when a team switches often it takes dribble drive and pick on toss back to KAT for quick hitter 3's. Then our offense goes stale and take a lot more out of control and forced attempts.
#2 when a team puts there better guards in pick in role it's leading to a break down in defense and quick outs to shooters.

Hat's off to Conley, Mitchell, Bogdanovic & there team defense tonight, MN had opportunities but they played really well. I'm not too worried about this loss it was a winnable game the Jazz played big and won because of it. Learn, grow and come back harder next time.

Sounds alot like what the system actually is.

Run the system to get open 3 pt shots then plug in the guys that cant shoot to take those shots. I do believe that we won some of the games we did this year solely by KAT and Wiggins carrying the team.

I actually think they are going to play Vonleh/ gorgui based on matchup. I feel like they have played gorgui because in theory he can stretch the floor and get Gobert away from the rim
