LaVine was 5-9 from three tonight. Everybody else was 4-15. We still need shooters.
Also, we missed nine free throws and had six more turnovers than our opponent. Things like that matter. Leaving points off the board.

What's amazing to me is that we are ranked 10th in the league in offensive rating. We have only scored less than 90 points once all season. Even some of the best teams have had a few stinkers offensively by now, but we've really only had one.
This is despite Rubio and Dunn's terrible shooting, despite Thibs' iso-heavy "go get 'em!" offense, and despite poor recognition of open guys by Wiggins and KAT. I mean, to me, we are practically at our floor offensively. I guess that's kind of good news (?).

Yes Rubio is yelling grab the rebound every time he shoots. ;)
He's a thoughtful bugger like that!

Wiggins was 2-3 from 3pt tonight while the rest of the team where 2-12 including rubio's 0-5. I like how hard rubio competed tonight, but he has to at least make a couple of 3's in a game.
I disagree about wiggins not finding the open man. i thought he make the right plays and could easily have 3 more assists if rubio make the open 3's he got from wig.
We saw towns getting the ball from the post after timeout by thibs, and this has happen in afew games already. I dont know if its coaching or the player but towns needs to get the ball in the post in majority of his touches and not from the 3pt line. We should also look to establish wiggins in the post more.

Just watching the replay of the game. LST you made a comment about Dunn having only one assist, which is true, he did only have one. But do you watch the game! I've seen his first stint on the floor and he's swung the ball from stong side to weak a number of times, creating good looks, had three "head-man" passes (I love when JimPete uses that one) this created something resembling a fastbreak. When he's been on the court we actually ran, and funny I didn't hear Tibs yelling him to stop.
Numbers don't tell the whole story! I wanted to respond to your comment about getting Wiggins more touches in the 4th earlier but was enjoying a show at the Northrop. You said this after stating his numbers are better then anyone else's in the 4th. I think that's the last thing that needs to happen. But the number so say I guess.

Guess who was on the bench at the start of the 4th quarter?

Wiggins has been the best shooter in the 4th but his motor is just not there. We all need to remember that Wiggins is the only player we are allowed to use non-descript anectodal observations on to make judgements.
