Wow, 2-10 from 3's vs. 10-25 for Utah. This is my favorite part of checking the box score since I don't get to watch many games. Amazing how much we get outgunned every game. Keep working that Long 2 offense Sammich!

There was a moment in the 4th quarter where Rubio lost the ball and it was bouncing out of bounds right past Wiggins and all he had to do was reach down and get it and he didn't even make an attempt. No excuse. It was obviously off Rubio. Even stars need to be benched when that happens to send a message. He's just so talented, but he can't have nights like that.
But at the same time, wow, Towns was amazing (so excited for that kid's future), and Dieng has been great for us. Dieng makes some mistakes, but his overall impact is clearly very positive, he's really skilled, and makes hustle plays on both sides of the ball. He clearly needs to be considered part of our core going forward. If we get a big banger who is a legit 5 to go down low with those two, we'll have a great 3 big rotation.
These kids are 20 years old. They are going to have off nights every once in a while. Wiggins has had them before, Zach has had a lot of them, and even Towns has had them. You guys expect these kids to be finished products already and it's just not realistic. After a bad Wiggins performance, and it was bad, you're ready to damn him to a mediocre career. He's been great for the last month and kept us in a lot of games. You have to see the forest through the trees and not overreact to every hiccup along the way.
Wait. What?
The post you quoted doesn't come close to making that prediction (in bold). Have others in this thread? Where?

So you wanted them to shoot 50 threes just to make up the difference in three point scoring? The loss would have been of epic proportions had they done so.

Okay, so maybe I used a little hyperbole while making a point. Never happens on a message board. You have a certain proclivity for taking things out of context. The overall message I'm delivering is what is important.

That you jump on people for writing things they never wrote?
It happens a lot. That's why you get called on it. When you stick to your opinions and stay accurate with what other people write... there's never a problem.

Why do you always fight me on this? This is a season long problem, not just one game

I am just shocked we let Wiggins play 36 minutes and he couldn't get a single rebound. I think if you put me on the floor I could get more rebounds than him. Not that I could do anything else effectively.

My issue with a Wiggins off game has always been the same. It's not because he missed shots and didn't have a super stat line. I can live with that. It's because he played with no effort, smarts or even any real interest in the game. That's unacceptable every single time.

Thanks Abe.
I appreciate it when people try to avoid exaggerating what other people write, which is a symptom of a kind of argumentative style that creeps onto this board too much for my taste. I hope more winning in the future will help clear that away.
