Ty Jerome might be the sneakiest great trade deadline target for teams that no one is talking about. He's been a MONSTER since returning from his injury three games ago. Has gone for:

28 and 7 assists with 0 TOs vs. SAC
19/6/8 vs. MIN
20/1/6 vs. MIN

Just on a 3/27M deal, too.
I would be all in. But why would Memphis even think about moving him? Maybe to get off Ja?
I'm not sure what Memphis is doing. They may keep him, but they may also be tanking, and Ty has shown injury issues missing all but 3 games this season, and most of the season a few years ago. I'm not sure if they consider him a core piece going forward on a rebuilding team at 27 years old. I'd imagine he wouldn't be too cheap though.

Ty Jerome is so interesting. Was just a run-of-the-mill backup journeyman guard for a few years and then explodes in his age 27 season with Cleveland as a big-time shot maker off their bench. That obviously wasn't a one-off season based on what he's done in Memphis so far.

If you look at his age 22 rookie season it might give you visions of Rob Dillingham struggling with the speed and size of the NBA. And this was a guy that played three years at UVA. Just not sure we're willing to wait five or six years for Rob!

Memphis, Chicago, and Charlotte....their cups overfloweth with quality guards. It can't be THAT difficult for us to trade for one of them. Bones is a nice story, but the good games don't come often enough. He bats about .200 or .250.

Evan Sidery reports if we don't do the Giannis trade we may pivot to a Ja Morant deal. Not sure how I feel on that but sounds like the price for him has been drastically reduced. It just feels to me like Ja is net negative player. I would prefer Kyrie. I would not trade Jaden for Kyrie by the way. That's why I feel it's an even better deal then getting Giannis.

Yeah, Giannis is the only piece I would be willing to include Jaden. Unless it is a 3-team trade, I don't see what Memphis would be willing to accept to match salaries for Ja...

I'm sure he has Plans B, C, D, etc. The question is, what is his time deadline on Plan A?

Well we can confidently say that Ant and Jaden won't be part of a Ja deal. Im highly skeptical that Rudy and Naz would be and doubtful that Julius would be. The rest of our players don't make enough. I don't see the math.

Would a Julius, Rob and Lenny for Ja and GG Jackson make some sense? Start Naz and have GG as an energy big behind him? I don't hate the concept but is Ja ever going to play more than 5 or 6 games at a time? Apparently he hasn't done that for a few years.

I watched this team beat OkC and Toronto the past week, and we seem to be able to beat anyone when Ant brings it at both ends of the court. I may be the only one here who supports Plan E...do nothing!
