Gobert completely upended our defensive and offensive schemes because he is such a unique player that dictates the way we play in ways completely different from last season.

That is the main issue. The GM completely emptied the bank account for a guy who the whole team has to alter for. This wasn't for a player who could just plug into the team who made the playoffs last year - and as Cam said had all the chances to go another round. There is zero continuity from last year to now - offensively or defensively. Everything is overhauled for Gobert. So far, it doesn't look good, and he is already 30 - a lumbering, weak handed, no offensive skill 30.

With all of the cap now tied up, no draft picks. Stupid.

But I would also add that given the complete overhaul in style, we need to give the team time to adjust. And not just 20 games, but 30, 40 or 50 games. I realize the end result may still be failure, but there is very little upside in making some immediate radical overhaul outside of tactical changes and potentially a move with DLO since he's on an expiring deal. I'm willing to give Finch and the team time to dig out of this, but if we end up falling flat, then there are going to need to be some fairly substantial changes this offseason.

Give it a little more time. Some of you guys complaining are the same ones who will be jumping on board once they start to turn it around. 20 games is not enough, let's see how this plays out for a while.

Cool - I will definitely be one of those who jumps on board if this team turns it around. Why wouldn't I? But through 25% of the season, this team has been playing very poorly while compiling a .500 record against an easy schedule. It should be clear that this ship is adrift in the water and barely staying afloat. That's definitely something to complain about after this team went all in on a deal intended to build a ship that would go from good to much better - a ship that would rise high in the water and be in contention to win the race. And it's not just the record. It's poor play - including sloppy play, dumb play and worst of all poor effort. The Wolves own coaching staff has called out the team repeatedly for poor effort and lack of toughness.

I admire your optimism in saying "once they start to turn it around." I haven't seen anything from the Wolves so far to justify saying anything but "if".

I like the energy so far in the 3rd - especially from KAT, Ant and Gobert.

Kyle Anderson really makes his teammates better. If this team is going to turn it around this season, Anderson will have to see lots of floor time.

Good close out by KAT. Just a great shot by Kuzma. I like the way KAT came down aggressively on the other end and he's rewarded with two free throws.

I actually think the Wolves are going to win this game.

Edwards drawing fouls. We shouldn't overlook this development. If it continues, it's a huge advancement in his game.

Ant's like, "white guy with a headband? No way can he guard me!". Refs proceed to call a foul on said white guy that, say, PJ Tucker would never get called for. Now that's using your head Ant!
