I would trade GRIII for Stauskas. Or Bud. Not Lavine though. Stauskas is exactly what the scouts were saying about him. An nonathletic shooter and poor defender. Those guys must actually know what they're talking about.

I am not ready to say Stauskas is crap. McLemore really looked bad last year and has been pretty good this year. I wouldn't give up LaVine for him, but would love to get him on this team. I don't think he will be a bust, but might take a few years to break out like Riddick did.

Definitely keep Wiggins, Ricky, Dieng, Lavine and GR3. Shabbaz maybe (but I don't see him as a great fit and would rather trade him if we can get anything decent for him). The others are expendable.

I would love to package Mo and Budinger...now that Mo is playing solid and earning his value. His trade value is solid right now. Pek, Martin both are not worth their contracts, unless a team like Chicago is willing to make a move. Would love to get their SAC 1st rounder. Peks signing was awful...hated it then and hate it even more now. Young is struggling, and so is Budinger. I just wish we didnt give away Brewer at this point.

Love to get Greg Monroe.

Rubio, Lavine
Wiggins,
Muhammad,
Monroe, Bennett
Dieng

Lots of holes still....perhaps we get lucky and secure the number 1...or 2 picks this year. But we need more assets....and Rubio, Pek and Martin are all needing to step up or get moved at this point IMO. Flip has done a solid job getting these guys to compete.

Two guys I would not dare think about trading for the next 3 years are rubio and wiggins.

The next tier of guys that i would want to keep as part of the core moving forward but will listen to offers are bazz, lavine and dieng. The rest are open for discussion as ling as it makes sense.

As far as the vets go, im in the minority but i would love to keep mo for another season after this. He is the perfect backup for rubio in my opinion and is a vet that we could use.

I wont mind trading martin and pek but i realize the difficulty of getting something of value for them other than salary dump. I dont see them hurting the development of the young guys as they have skills that none on the current roster has. Namely size and low post scoring and volume 3 pt shooting accuracy.

Thad, i was very high on him when we got him and is disappointed in his play now. Still, i beleive that he is a better player than he has shown thus far and hope he plays better in the 2nd half. I believe he has enough value to get something of value in return.

Just a note. Mo has to approve any trade because he is on a 1 year deal, so he controls his destination if Flip tries to trade him. Another note. Monroe would also have to approve a trade from the surging Pistons to the lowly Wolves to get here because he is on a 1 year deal.

How is Bazz not a good fit? Bazz at SF, Wiggins at SG. They have the potential to be a damn good pairing.

Yeah, it would be pretty big balls to trade Bazz when his development is skyrocketing. Yeah, you might be able to sell high, but you could look damn foolish selling too soon!

I think Bazz in the starting lineup has been a factor in Wiggins explosion. Bazz demands so much more attention than Brewer...

Imagine if we had Rubio with those 2. I am salivating for some real basketball from this team.

I forgot who wrote it, but someone mentioned that because Bazz is a much stronger guy who likes to bang in the post that it forces the other team to put their stronger defenders on Bazz instead of Wiggins which they got to do before Bazz entered the starting lineup. That makes sense because you can't put a weak defender on Bazz because he'll just post that guy up. Combine that with the fact that most teams don't have two strong wing defenders and I think Bazz has certainly helped out Wiggins by drawing the stronger defender and letting Wiggins face better matchups for his strength level and game. Bazz is a better scorer so I would think he would draw the better defender than Wiggins. I'll have to pay closer attention moving forward, but that line of thinking makes sense to me.
