Who remembers Kandi (taken first overall), Darko (second overall), Michael Beasley (second overall), Eddie Griffin and now AB. Are we better for taking on these guys? We got a great core in place, we should be focused on finding complimentary pieces and good role players rather than rehabbing a guy that many think is on track to be the worst bust in recent memory. Even if AB were to find lightning in a bottle, I don't think he makes the team any better. He's a weak defender and terrible passer and I think we'll have plenty of scorers that are more efficient or just as efficient as him.

Way to early to label AB a bust on par with the likes of Darko and Kandi when they came to the Wolves. AB's not a terrible defender. I agree he's not a good passer but we don't need passing from the PF position. More than anything, we need rebounding from that position and AB is a very good rebounder. He's also a decent shot blocker and a potentially very good scorer. At age 22 with only two injury plagued seasons behind him, it would be silly to deal him at this point unless we got a good asset in return. He's still a high upside talent who could get it together in what will be his third season.
