Like Lip, I also usually cheer for the underdog. But I cheer for the Wolves before I cheer for the underdog, and a decisive win in this series by Denver looks better for the Wolves. Plus Jokic is one of my favorite players in the league. So as much as I like the Miami story, I'll be cheering for Denver in this one. A solid win by Denver would be more evidence that we might have be building something here.
FNG - Love that you're looking for the Wolves angle. It's a close call for me. I like the Nuggets for all the reasons Q gave in his post. And I like your Wolves-centric angle as well. I think I'll still root for the Heat, but I'll be plenty happy to see the Nuggets win. I actually believe the Nuggets will win. They have the best player and overall better talent. Boston had more talent, but there is something wrong with that team - maybe coaching. In contrast, the Nuggets are really well coached and I don't see them losing to the Heat. If nothing else, I'm hoping for a highly competitive 7-game series for entertainment value.
It is probably the first time that I will be happy for whoever wins. Both teams are easy to cheer for. The biggest win is seeing the NBA lose out on their coveted Lakers vs. Celtics match-up.

I agree completely!!!!
The only way it would've been better is if the Heat were able to complete the sweep. Silver and NBA royalty sitting in their chairs like Mr Burns planning their riches around the Celtics and Lakers final, only to have them both swept. So close! Still great though.
