If we are making comparisons I don't think Okafor is nearly the prospect that Cousins was. Of course he doesn't have the issues Cousins did/does but I think there is some perspective to be gained there.

Suppose we land the #3 pick and Denver picks 8 or 9. Would you trade our pick for Farried and their pick? I would be awfully tempted to do that.

I would but don't think they would

Not so sure, they might.

Farid is the type of guy this team really needs.

Only if Stien is there. I want a great defensive front court.

Faried is 4 years (and one hefty contract extension) into the NBA and still has little to no offensive game outside of 3 feet. I do love his energy on both ends of the floor, but I just hate the idea of surrounding Rubio with big's who can't shoot from midrange (and/or 3).

I wouldn't. I'd take who's left of Okafor, Towns, Russell. Denver is in a weird spot right now. They could either blow it up or take this new found life as a reason to keep what they have. I would try to give them some of our young guys for Faried. Faried and 9 isn't worth a top 3 pick in this draft. A top 3 pick should land us an all-star with the other pieces we could trade with it.

We might be able to get Faried and Kaminsky. Wouldn't that be a great haul for us?

I would call that a good haul for us but not great. I like Kaminsky but not enough to throw great around.
