I would call that a good haul for us but not great. I like Kaminsky but not enough to throw great around.

One sure thing in Faried and one really good big with potential. Rebuild would nearly be complete.

It would be great if we don't give up our pick. I think the market is going to be quiet for Faried. I don't think the draft would be a time to deal for him. Let's see if another one of our youngsters make some noise at the beginning of next year and move on him then. I wouldn't rush anything if Faried is the target.

Faried's a sure thing. A 12/9 career big who doesn't block shots or play great defense, nor does he have any go-to moves on offense. He is the definition of a hustle player or janitor (clean up points), which is fine don't get me wrong. He's a good guy to have on your basketball team.

At 25-years old and set to make $12M per the next four years, no way would I trade a top-5/6 pick for him let alone anything higher.

Drummond would be the player I would trade a top pick for and it is not happening.

Looks like we are going to have two top 2nd round picks this year ours and Sacramento's. Any guys people hope we could get in that range or hope falls down to us?

R.J. Hunter, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, T.J. McConnell, Dakari Johnson, VanVleet.

"@Mike_Schmitz: My Top 16: Okafor, Towns, Mudiay, Russell, WCS, Hezonja, Johnson, Winslow, Porzingis, Kaminsky, Oubre, Portis, Booker, Dunn, Grant, Turner"

For those that don't know, that's the guy that makes a ton of those DX scouting videos we tend to like a lot.

Good list, in my opinion. (Portis coming in at 12 makes me smile; Porzingis being that low doesn't surprise me; I'd swap Towns/Okafor, Johnson/Hezonja and Portis/Oubre and that'd be close to my list too.)

I think he'll carve out a career as a defensive guy in this league. In the second round, he might be as close to a sure thing (in that role) as a team could find.

Really fun story from USA Today on Karl Anthony-Towns. It's impossible not to like this kid and it's impossible (for me) to now dream about Rubio throwing him lobs and "Karlito" protecting the paint on defense.
