Shits wild to me, no way he's getting that money back right?
Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see how any team wants to pay him serious money. Report is, he's looking for and expecting near max

Walker Kessler reportedly turned down 5 years 140 million from Utah. I wonder how much he thinks he is worth?

Lately there’s been a tendency to dismiss the importance of the regular season with a focus on having a roster that will win playoff games. I believe that thinking is flawed. Good luck getting to the NBA Finals, much less winning a championship, if you finish outside the top 4. In the past 45 years, only five teams finishing outside the top 4 have made the NBA finals and two of those 4 won the championship. The Knicks are the most recent example. So it seems clear that your team has to be built to win in the regular season in spite of its rigors. And I think the regular season will be even tougher with the new lottery rules, which will cause more teams to compete hard all season.

So what does all this means for the Wolves this offseason? I think it reinforces the view that it would be foolish to deplete our depth for one star or former star - especially one with a lot of mileage in their legs and a history of missing a lot of games. That’s why, as much as I like Giannis, I think it would be ridiculous for the Wolves to pursue him knowing what we’d have to give up to get him.

The more I think about this offseason from multiple angles, the more I’m convinced that the only path for the Wolves this offseason is to get the best rotation player they can in exchange for either Randle or Rudy, perhaps with our #28 pick included. But I’d be reluctant to include the #28 pick as well because of our heavily depleted draft cupboard. That’s where we’re at.

I think if we trade Rudy this summer, we should try to trade the 28th pick this year to Utah for our 2027 first round pick back if possible. The pick will more than likely be in the 20's next year in what is considered a bad draft, where this drat is considered really good. But if we don't have Donte next season but still have him on the books, we don't have Rudy to raise the floor, and we have some injuries, it gives you insurance should you falter into the play-in where you could still hit the lottery.

Apparently, the Bucks and Heat are close to a final Giannis deal. Stay tuned.

Those 2 teams really struggle in the red zone. They really need a better running games to finish drives.

“Featuring multiple facilitating teams…”. What’s the best case asset we can fleece outta each team to somehow make this about us?

That Sidery guy has lots to say, doesn't he?!? He suggests the Giannis deal will involve 4 or 5 teams. Hmm...

On another note, he put out there the Pelicans and Griz are discussing a deal of Ja for Poole and Hawkins. I wonder if that makes Dejounte more available?
