I don't think Zimmer would survive that. This week will be a tough week if we can't run the ball better.

How many sacks do you think we will give up this week? Will Chandler Jones get another 5 and be at 10 sacks after week 2?

I have been supportive of Zimmer, but his defense sucks. I think we need to fire his son after this game just to make a statement.

There is no downside to firing Zimmer now. Any infantile observer of football can see that a bad line + a non mobile qb is a losing combo. Insane. And then to put all emphasis in the draft and free agency on the D and come up with this garbage sits on the coach.

I'm confused about any complaints about the offensive line yesterday...I thought they were as terrific yesterday as they were pathetic last week. Cousins had time all day (only 1 sack for 2 yards against a very good pass rushing team), and Cook had much more space to make his brilliant cuts. I was ready to give up on Bradbury after the Cincy game, but he bounced back nicely yesterday.

We lost a chance to steal a win on the road against a good team yesterday for one reason and one reason only...a guy missed a chip shot as time expired. Zimmer has no patience with kickers...will we see someone new next week?

I'm a little frustrated by the defense (offense looked good) but the Cardinals look good on that side of the ball. I would say at least one of those Murray INTs was a bad throw by him but the Vikings should still get credit for taking advantage. Murray has to be difficult to plan against. He is a good passer that can make all the throws and athletic etc. some of those skill position players are good in the open field one of the best plays in the game might have been that punt coverage by Boyd on Moore later in the game. Oh and Hunter was amazing.

To me this team has a chance to be good but can they get better and tighten up some aspects? Time will tell 0-2 isn't how you want to start especially since both games could have been won but it's not like they were blown out or something. That D is talented they need to figure out how to keep teams from running to the outside.

As for the kicking situation. Unless there is some obvious guy sitting there to be signed (haven't looked but I doubt it) I think they should stick with Joseph. If he had missed a 52 yarder and made the shorter FG instead Then we would be focusing on just the missed extra point. I'm not locked in on him staying but it's not like he wasn't converting at all either.

The offense has been good enough to win. I just look at this team and had hope for a good defense. We have invested a lot on that side of the ball and it has not netted good results so far. If we score 24 points in a game I expect us to win.
