Will the Vikings make any moves?
Would they look for another backup QB? Interesting take on adding another RB.

Re: Vikings Trade Deadline
It just doesn't make sense to me to add a 3rd RB to this team. We saw 3 RB's didn't work in NO because there just aren't enough touches to go around. I also don't get the logic of trading any kind of pick for a half season luxury rental. We don't need a running back so why trade any kind of pick for one? We've had over 100 yards rushing the last 3 games. Seems like a weird thing to post on that blog that we consider. Doesn't make a ton of sense to me. Just seems like adding a piece just because you can.
Re: Vikings Trade Deadline
This last week Murray started to look like the guy that we thought we were going to get and McKinnon has started to look like the guy I though he was also. CJ Ham ain't bad either he might actually be more athletic than Asiata and he is the FB. I doubt the make a move for a RB and the trade deadline is pretty meh in this sport there are so many guys available you can just pick up.

Only way I do anything is if you think Hydes is at least on par with Murray and
McKinnon. I think there is a chance he might be the best of the bunch. I don't see us doing anything. I will be curious if the Pats do anything this year like they did last year.

Even if he's better though, what does that accomplish getting him? Does adding Hyde turn us into a super bowl contender? I think almost no matter what we do (unless it is get more help on the line which isn't happening because nobody has good spare lineman to give away) it isn't worth it because our contending hopes fall on a backup QB anyway. Murray and Mckinnon seem to be a workable combo so I would just roll with them. We need the roster spots for the Teddy decision in 2 weeks anyways.

Re: Vikings Trade Deadline
According to FBO, the Vikes are bad at sweeps to the left and runs up the middle, but good to the right. Is this a line issue or a back issue? I'm asking because I am not able to tell. Is there reputable lineman available?
Also on FBO: The Vikings two biggest areas of weakness (and they're not really that bad) are Pass D and Punt D. Anybody available that could help that? And do you give up a 2nd day pick for a special teamer?
Another great stat: The Vikes are not great at run stuffing, but are #1 in tackling after 5 yards. I attribute that to Kendricks and Smith. Opinions?

Interesting stats.
Linval Joseph has a lot to do with those yards for loss. There was a stat on a podcast I listened to this week about what yards Vikings opponents faced on 3rd down and I was like almost 3rd and 7 or something like that on average. I believe they said that was the best in the league.
I think by my eye test the punt game has been pretty good.
