Who starts at Power Forward

Post by KiwiMatt »

I'm really struggling to work out who starts at the 4 on opening night.

Do we go for a young, upside guy like Vonleh who can rebound and somewhat stretch the floor?

Do we play small ball and start RoCo, allowing Wigs to play the 3 and Okogie or Culver to start?

Do we go with a defensive player like Bell to help KAT out on that end on the floor?

Do we go with a young, versatile scorer in KBD?

Do we go back to starting Gorgui Dieng and increasing his trade value?

I chose Noah Vonleh purely on being the best fit next to KAT.

He'll help on the boards which was a weakness of ours last year. He can also defend at a decent level including being able to switch on to the perimeter. I also think he can become a better 3 point shooter. He's 250lb but moves quick for his size and has decent length.
