Battle of the Soft Schedules - Kings at Wolves GDT

Post by 60WinTim »

According to the Sagarin rankings, the Wolves have had the 29th toughest schedule, which is pretty obvious when you scan our remaining games. The Kings rank 27th. We know many of the reasons for the Wolves current record. But the Kings have been one of the healthier teams this year.

Anthony Edwards is listed as Questionable due to the wrist he was favoring last night. But he has shown he is a gamer! We really need to go on an extended winning streak while we have all these home games.

On a side note: I saw a Doogie report from last Tuesday that said JMac is about 2 weeks away, which would make him available somewhere towards the end of this homestand...

Tankathon ranks Wolves as having the 4th toughest remaining schedule as of today. 4 of their toughest remaining games are against the Kings. If they were to win the next 2 they will actually make their remaining schedule easier by adding two losses to them.

Defence falls to pieces again as soon as Reid comes in for Gobert.

It's pretty startling. Granted, Sacramento is the #1 offense in the NBA, so they are going to score. We need to keep hitting shots. But yeah, Gobert is such a massive difference maker on that end.

Not only is Gobert such a difference maker, but also Reid and Garza are so terrible on that end of the court. Especially Reid.

7-0 Wolves run on the back of some offensive rebounding and scramble defense. Great energy thus far. Lots of hustle plays.
